Making EHC (electro-hydraulic control) installations / upgrades, we often use EX38 proportional section valves, made by Hydrocontrol. Available as, common flow, load-sensing, pressure compensated, 12 or 24V. EX38 max flow is 130LPM. Mostly crane-dependent customised configurations are available. When ordering valve, always pre-inform crane model. The number of sections is customisable, often valves have 6 or 7 or 8-sections. By special order, even 9 or 10 section valves are supported (example for basic crane functions: 6, for support arms: 2 and for wagon hydraulic drive: 2 sections). At the moment we have customised 6-8 sections of valve specs available for cranes, like:
- Loglift, 210bar
- Loglift, 240bar
- Cranab, 215bar
- Cranab, 235bar
- Mesera, 240bar
- Waratah 240bar
- Palms, 210 bar
- Kesla, 190bar
- Joutsa, 180 bar
For more powerful applications, a good choice will be EX38’s “big brother” EX46, having a normal working flow of 180LPM. Available with similar options as EX38. For smaller cranes we have available 12V or 24V common flow DVS14 valves, for pump flows 70 — 80LPM, working pressures up to 180 — 190 bars.
